GOD

I feel that this word ‘God’ is the actual problem…from years people have tried to personify God for their own understanding or choice…& the most easiest was to personify it alike to a ‘human’ the way the man himself looked…or even some animals who he saw were powerful like say ‘Lion’…He noticed which things are supporting him say fire, water, air…& tried portraying them…& thereby we have 33 crore Devtas according to Hindu Mythology. Different religions, different personifications…

So we consider that this GOD thing is some living creature like entity…but since there is no such Godly figure to be seen in reality so there arises the disbelief regarding GOD…A human if not shown any idol of God from his childhood to the time he gets hold of the world around him won’t be able to personify GOD…He might get the hints of some supreme power but will not be able to image it as existing idols of Narsimha, Rama, Jesus, Buddha…etc

Now suppose tomorrow we get to know that GOD is the name of some star or say one sea of highly energetic particles…& from there our whole universe originated…& will be sustaining it to next 100 billion years, will probably give more acceptances to the concept of God.

Satisfaction...a Big thing!

There are so many variations, inequalities in this world...I'll talk about 'mankind'... Somebody is black, somebody fair (physical variations); somebody is too authoritative & other too humble (variations in nature); somebody likes spicy & somebody mild (variations in taste)... & finally somebody is rich & somebody poor! I'll talk about 'rich and poor'

Why somebody is poor, somebody middle class, somebody rich? Why this injustice? Why every body is not of the types Tatas, Ambanis, Bill Gates, Amitabh Bachchan or whatever similar stuff?

Further there is other variation-mason, carpenter, fruit seller, shopkeeper, business man, CEO of a company, social worker & so on...Why again?

But can everybody be a business man?

Answer of course is 'No'. Everybody cannot be a business man b'coz for this job to work, somebody has to be a mason, somebody a worker, somebody a dealer...& lot many more jobs need to be done. So someone or the other has to fill all the above positions...( & thereby somebody rich & somebody poor & somebody middle class)

These small small jobs, poor workers are actually the roots of every successful bigger endeavor.

Above said is just a small example... but this fact is true in all aspects of this world. If these variations wouldn't have existed then the idea of God of 'Living & Evolving Earth' could never have worked.

But Now 2nd point is... What decides that who will be a CEO & who a fruit seller. Why a CEO is a CEO & fruit seller a fruit seller? Why it can't be reversed? Ya, Money is surely one factor...but we know if it's only money then...we have many such rags-to riches examples

Then where lies the difference?

I feel that God has created everybody with some inner indicator of what one wants ( or has to achieve) in his/her life. I term it as 'satisfaction'. The fruit seller is a fruit seller & not a CEO of some big company b'coz 'he doesn't wish to'...but CEO is a CEO coz he dreams and aspires big...

So my point is SATISFACTION is which basically varies from individual to individual...SATISFACTION is the thing which has made this world balanced...it's actually making the world work efficiently. This SATISFACTION is the thing which justifies some inequalities...at least of being rich & poor (up to quite an extent). This SATISFACTION is a thing which allows mason to be a mason, a business man to be a business man, a teacher to be a teacher, a politician to be a politician, a social worker to be a social worker...and so on... but all this with an inner bliss...nobody desiring or envying to take others place.
And this is how I feel that God is the ultimate manager...He knows how to get things done! :)

Why a Girl Proposing a Guy a Big 'NO NO!' ?

Why should girls be always expected to be 'Barbie Dolls' who should wait for their 'Prince Charming' to come & bend on his knees, gift a bouquet of red roses to her, say some beautiful words for her, kiss her hand and take her away on horseback to the world where they live happily ever after?
Why?
Why a girl cannot admit her unconditional love for a man whom she fancy to be her Prince Charming?
In love how does & why should it matter who proposes -whether a male or a female?
Supposingly, I love someone & I feel blessed with that feeling & my inner will tells me that I am not wrong then why should I have problem in accepting my love for my beloved...even if I am a female. Proposing first just means that u cannot let go the one u love just for the fear of hearing 'NO' or for the fear of people or whatever. So to me, this gesture should not be reserved for guys only.

Will I be able to do it???

I am not able to fight my weak points...I am feeling as if I am moving nearer and nearer to darkness everyday...I am losing myself...My strengths are deteriorating and weaknesses are overpowering me...I am fearing the failure...I am feeling that I'll not be able to achieve my goals...I am undergoing great pressure on my mind...I am uncertain of my future...

Probably this is the phase of my life which will test out the truth behind the lines,
'Nothing is Impossible!'
'Where there is a will there is a way!' (I strongly believe in this line till now...)
and
'Hard Work conquers all!' (as someone strongly believes...)

God Please Help me to get hold of me! Please I want myself back...Please enable me to do severest of hardwork...Please help me in accomplishing my goals and realizing my dreams...

Ashoka's Inscription Describing The Kalinga War

"Eight years after becoming king I conquered Kalinga (ancient name of coastal Orissa). About a lakh and a half people were captured. And more than a lakh of people were killed. This filled me with sorrow. Why?

Whenever an independent land is conquered, lakhs of people die, and many are taken prisoner. Brahmins and monks also die. People who are kind to their relatives and friends, to their slaves and servants die, or lose their loved ones.

That is why I am sad, and have decided to observe dhamma (Prakrit word for sanskrit term 'Dharma') and to teach others about this as well.

I believe that winning people over through dhamma is much better than conquering them through force.

I am inscribing this message for the future, so that my son and grandson after me should not think about war. Instead they should try to think about how to spread dhamma."

He is the only king in the history of the world who gave up conquest after winning a war.

I found this extract very fascinating. It somewhere gives me the strong feeling that ' Biggest of changes in one's attitude/thinking come in fraction of seconds, when one sees ' The Big Picture'.
